Taj offers an impeccable guest experience. I am a very discerning traveller. But they dutifully follow your instructions about checkin/out, room/floor selection and special preferences like choice of newspapers and any other requirement. The service is outstanding and the food is great. My best experience however was in the gym, where they had excellent trainers who would coach as if you were contesting for a fitness tournament.

I have stayed in the Taj MG Road several times and it is truly a five star Hotel. After a couple of days you will be greeted by name or at least recognized by your room number. But this review is about the spa. This was the first time I had an extra free day and I decided to get a massage at the Wellness Circle. My masseuse Nyolong was truly amazing. I went for the Warrior Massage, which is on the firm side. She quickly identified my tense spots and was able to resolve them with just the right amount of pressure. Overall the spa location was in a private room with dimmed lights and low volume relaxing music in the background. The room was nicely temperature controlled and body parts which have not been worked on were always covered. The massage was a perfect balance between relaxing strokes and resolving tense spots where needed. Highly recommend Nyolong as your therapist.

Definitely try the treatments at J spa, if you have the opportunity. I got the aromatherapy massage from Mr. Kumar and it was fantastic! Super relaxing and the service is great.
